Mushroom March privacy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Mushroom March (“the game”) is a puzzle game for Android published by Spareleg, a trading name of Varlis (“we”). This policy explains what data the game handles and why. We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
Your game on your device
Your progress (the levels you have finished or skipped, and the pieces you finished with), your sound and music settings, the levels you make in the level editor and whether you own the one-time unlock are stored only on your device. We don’t run a server, cloud save or leaderboard for the game, and the game doesn’t use analytics. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data removes these records; a purchased unlock can be restored from Google Play.
Adverts (Google AdMob)
The game shows adverts between levels using Google AdMob, and offers optional rewarded videos that let you skip a level. To serve and measure adverts and to prevent fraud, AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process your device’s advertising ID and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app and device information, advert interactions such as views and taps, and diagnostic information about adverts.
Where the law requires it (for example in the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, and some US states), the game uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to ask for your choices before adverts are requested, and requests adverts only as that allows. Where this applies, Settings shows an Ad privacy button to change your choices at any time. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android device settings. Non-personalised adverts can still involve data processing.
Google’s use of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and by how Google uses information from apps that use its services. See also the Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure.
Purchases (Google Play)
The optional one-time unlock removes the adverts and opens the level editor. Google Play processes the purchase entirely; we never see your payment details. The game checks with Google Play whether you own the unlock, so it can turn adverts off, and restores it through the same Google account if you reinstall. A refunded purchase is removed the next time the game checks.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Data sharing and sale
We don’t sell your personal information. Apart from the Google services described above (AdMob and Google Play), no data is shared with third parties.
Security and retention
Data sent to Google travels over encrypted connections and is kept according to Google’s policies. Data stored on your device stays there until you delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, or to object to how it is used. Because the game keeps your progress only on your device and we hold no account data, most requests are best handled through the in-game ad privacy choices, your device’s advert settings, or Google directly. For anything else, contact us at [email protected]. Please don’t send payment-card details or passwords.
Changes
We may update this policy as the game changes. The date above always shows the current version.
